Torso of a small statue of Nike located southwest of the Parthenon in 1886 or 1888. It was found in three fragments which were reassembled.
Her arms, wings and larger part of legs are broken. The upper part of her torso is depicted in a frontal view while the legs in a side one. The Nike wears a thin chiton and over this a short himation that falls slanting from the left shoulder and forms relief folds. With her left hand she lifts the chiton between her legs exposing her right thigh. Her wavy hair follows the movement of her body as the winged deity flies to the left. Residue of colour is preserved over her hair and garments.
